The band plays tunes from such great groups as Kool & the Gang, Earth, Wind and Fire and Tower of Power. FUNK-STOP distinguishes itself with its phenomenal vocals and rhythm secion plus the hottest horn section around. FUNK-STOP is comprised of professional music educators with the intention of bringing great funky dance music to the Midwest area. This high energy show motivates people of all ages to jump on the dance floor and learn the true meaning of funk. |

28 - Wildcard - Sponsored by The Waterloo Black Hawks & Lincoln Savings Bank WildCard, based in the Cedar Valley since 2003, plays a great mix of today's new country, classic country and a shot of classic rock. WildCard is: DANIEL RUSCH, Electric Guitar, has played in several popular Cedar Valley based rock and country bands throughout the 80s and 90s. RODNEY WESLEY, Bass Guitar and vocals, continues the tradition of a rock-solid rhythm section and cutting harmony vocals. Rodney's a veteran of the Eastern Iowa music scene and has played in some of the Cedar Valley's top bands throughout the years. ZACH BINDERT, Lead Vocalist and Acoustic Guitar, is a high energy performer with a wide vocal range and an accomplished guitarist. Zach's been in several Eastern Iowa bands and has been involved in music most of his life. LUKE RATHE, Drums, a seasoned veteran on the drums while still in high school, was playing with some of the Midwest's most popular bands. |
